Avanade Inc. Microsoft Client Executive in Houston, Texas

In a highly visible leadership role, the Microsoft Client Executive will be a key member of the Global Microsoft Account Leadership Team and report directly to the Microsoft Account Executive. You will lead and grow our Microsoft business in the largest division within the client.

As a thought leader, you will transform and develop our existing capabilities, build new capabilities, develop key client relationships, and position Avanade as an innovator and partner of choice for Microsoft platform solutions.

You will lead and drive the growth of our largest and most strategic global account in the fastest growing area: Product Engineering, achieving 3x growth over the next 3 years. Within a collaborative construct, you will effectively partner directly with our Accenture and Microsoft parent companies to achieve all goals.

Within a Highly Collaborative Organization You Will: * Drive increased market share, revenue, and customer satisfaction by developing and cultivating strategic client relationships and delivering customized solutions aligning to the client’s digital and transformational needs. * Be the "go to" person for the Product Engineering client area for creative build/run/manage solutions, creating positive business outcomes * Oversee a $100m+ delivery portfolio * Champion differentiated commercial models and outcomes for our client * Leverage offshore and near-shore sales, solutions, and delivery capabilities to produce results with excellence * Lead with a diverse mindset, Avanade Values, and a strong focus on the development of your team and those around you * Partner with Global/Regional Executives and Regional Sales Leads to achieve both strategic and operational targets for growth * Conduct account planning, pipeline development, complex channel management, strategic deal shaping, bid management, and on-going pre-sales effectiveness program focus

The Ideal Profile:

You are client-focused and have extensive expertise borne of a technology services environment. You have experience leveraging large-scale systems integrations, consulting services, and/or managed services to successful business outcomes. You are a passionate and impactful Microsoft Client Partner.

You have a strong understanding of and background of experience in: * Solid relationships withing the Microsoft Ecosystem * Outcome-based and value-driven leadership * Bringing the transformational sponsorship needed to embed new ways of delivering value to clients across a complex landscape * Innate leadership attributes and a motivational style * Ready to embrace and innovate in the "new normal"

Accountabilities and Metrics: * Microsoft Client Specific Sales and Revenue targets * Microsoft Client Specific profitability targets * Specific Solution Area/Industry-focused sales targets

Background of Experience: * a marque Microsoft client/business relationship as the primary point of contact and relationship manager leveraging a client-centric approach to positive business outcomes * Achieve double digit growth YoY * and lead large scale, highly profitable technology services engagements within a technology consulting environment * , originating, developing, and delivering multi-year, Microsoft Solutions, and you contribute to a borderless Global Practice leveraging skills and capabilities for sales and delivery from across the world, and heavily engaging Global Delivery capabilities * You have experience assessing and managing the opportunity and risk associated with large scale complex services/consulting engagements. * You also have experience working as part of the Microsoft ecosystem, which includes an understanding and relationships inside Microsoft. * You have extensive experience selling, architecting, and building Microsoft solutions, preferably industry-focused solutions sales and delivery experience with multi-site, offshore/onshore delivery models.

  • You have extensive customer management, sales, and delivery experiences in a Services organization, with significant career success ideally running a +100M revenue portfolio
  • Knowledgeable across many areas such as: Azure Infrastructure Solutions, Cloud Technologies, Networking, Data Center Operations, Platform Migration and Enterprise Directories
  • Experience and passion for Product Engineering is a plus
  • You also have experience implementing sales principles and practices, including business development, marketing, and complex channel management
