The Role

Avanade UK is looking to hire a SailPoint Consultant with knowledge and experience of delivering SailPoint Identity and Access Governance solutions from conception through to completion.

Working on some of the largest and leading-edge projects; the SailPoint Consultant role is one where you will lead and drive the transformation of our client’s Identity and Access Governance security, business and technical processes using SailPoint technologies.

We are looking for candidates with deep technical skills and at least three years’ demonstrable experience designing and implementing SailPoint Identity IQ or Identity Now solutions for both Identity Management and Access Governance use cases.

Being the leading Microsoft digital innovator, we would like our candidates to have a strong background in the Microsoft platform including the Microsoft Identity and Access Management technologies such as Active Directory, Azure Active Directory and Microsoft Identity Manager. Additional experience in Office 365, PKI, Identity Federation and the Microsoft Enterprise Mobility and Security Suite will provide an additional advantage.

The role will involve delivering throughout the project lifecycle, and candidates should be comfortable with performing discovery, analysis, design, build, test and deployment of SailPoint Identity solutions.

Candidates must be comfortable meeting with clients, leading workshops and managing small teams.

Identity and Access Governance projects require consultants with strong written and verbal communication skills and the candidate must be able to communicate across all areas of the business, from Human Resources through to Information Security teams. You must be able to adapt your language and approach to meet the audience’s needs, whilst you help them understand the business, security and technical benefits of an Identity and Access Governance solution.

Technical Skills

We require a technically capable candidate with a deep and proven understanding of SailPoint Identity and Access Governance technologies.

Candidates will be expected to demonstrate expertise in the following concepts:

  • SailPoint Identity IQ or SailPoint Identity Now (skills in both is desirable.)

  • Identity Correlation

  • Identity Cubes

  • Developing Schemas

  • Group Management

  • Access Governance

  • Identity Self Service

  • Role Based Access Control

  • Certificate Management

  • Java and Beanshell development

  • Provisioning and Deprovisioning

  • Microsoft Hybrid Identity

  • Identity Federation

  • Business to Business Identity

  • Business to Customer Identity

We expect the candidate to have completed formal SailPoint training including:

  • Identity IQ Fundamentals

  • Identity IQ Provisioning

  • Identity IQ Admin

Further training in the IdentityNow and Security IQ products will be an advantage.

As a potential member of our Security Consulting practice the successful candidate must have a strong foundation in Microsoft technologies. Experience and subject matter expertise in at least three of the technologies listed below is required:

  • Windows Server 2012 and onwards

  • Microsoft Azure

  • Active Directory Domain Services

  • Active Directory Federation Services

  • Active Directory Domain Services

  • Active Directory Certificate Services (PKI)

  • Azure AD Connect

  • Azure Active Directory

  • Azure Information Protection

  • Enterprise Mobility and Security Suite (EM+S)

  • Office 365

  • SailPoint Security IQ

Additionally, candidates should demonstrate knowledge of and ideally hold certifications in the following areas:

  • CISSP/CCSP

  • CCNA

  • MCSE/MCSA

  • GDPR

To supplement the technical knowledge and project delivery experience, the successful candidate will come from a Consulting background with good customer facing skills, the ability to gather customer requirements and produce high quality written deliverables. As a consultant, you must be willing and able to travel extensively within the UK.
