Avanade is currently rethinking the way we manage performance and is beginning a journey that values science-based simplicity, efficient processes and tools that support our design principles, and drives measurable organizational performance. In this role, you will help drive a transformational change in the way we do performance management, and, over time, continuously optimize and improve our strategy, processes, and tools in support of our design principles. In addition, you will have the opportunity to collaborate, coordinate, and lead work in how Avanade defines the concept of a “career”, in a way that aligns with our business model, competitive advantage as an organization, and our culture.
In addition to the below responsibilities and preferred background, the ideal candidate will enjoy managing big, complex, and at times ambiguous projects, balancing organizational realities with science, and partnering closely with stakeholders (business leaders, HR business partners, IT, etc.) across Avanade to have a real impact on the organization.
Implementation of a new Performance Management design for Avanade.
As part of a larger project team, this person will plan and manage the implementation, change management, and training as we implement our new performance management design.
This person will work closely with HR Technology in the scoping, choice, and implementation of all the technology needs in support of performance management.

Develop and manage the principles that govern our on-going performance management strategy
Be responsible for the continuous improvement of performance management at Avanade
Develop, maintain, and deliver training resources that enable our stakeholders to excel at managing performance at Avanade
Coordinate and maintain assessment frameworks (such as priorities, competency, alignment, among others) as they relate to performance management
Help answer “What is a career at Avanade?”
Coordinate a cross-functional team of stakeholders to advance the “practice point of view” for what it means to have a career at Avanade.
Work may include leading cross-functional teams in addressing career paths, promotion / talent-move criteria and processes, and career leveling definitions.
Experience: Our ideal candidate will have 4-6+ years of experience in organizational development or talent management, or roles with a strong focus in these areas. They are regarded as a subject matter expert in performance management. In addition, the ideal candidate will have strong project and change management experience, preferably in a fast-paced, fast changing industry, such as consulting or high-tech. Finally, they will have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Education: Ideal candidate will have a master's degree in Industrial/Organizational psychology, Organizational Development or Behavior, Human Resources Management or related field. PhD is preferred, but not required.
