We are looking for a talented global internal communications specialist to join our team. In this role you will be focused on creating bold and compelling content and digital communication strategies to engage our 35k global employees. This includes, but is not limited to, employee newsletters & postcards, intranet content, targeted emails, videos, event promotion, social media and more. Excellent writing skills are key as is experience working with different digital platforms and channels.
The global internal communications sr. consultant will be responsible for engaging with teams across the company to execute communication strategies that are measurable and impactful. We love out of the box thinkers and new ideas! Experience working in a fast-paced, global company is a plus. Must be flexible (things always change!) and have the ability to manage multiple projects, timelines and stakeholder expectations. Relationships are key, so understanding how to communicate to different levels and audiences is important. About the Job:
Drives the development, production and distribution of internal communications content in Avanade vehicles (Top5, KnowShareDo, etc.)
Develops and curates content for weekly and bi-weekly all employee communications.
Manages the development, approval process and execution of all employee email communications.
Owns and manages content for intranet homepage and creates new stories for intranet and digital hub.
Partners closely with internal communications, global marketing and the business to support the communications of key initiatives and programs.
Collaborates with ITS, PR/AR, brand, social media and the digital team to continue to raise the bar on the digital delivery and quality of our communications.
Employs storytelling techniques to help differentiate Avanade’s messaging.
Strives to continuously evolve and improve our internal communications strategy by conducting research and interacting with our target audience regularly.
Serves as brand champion to help ensure brand positioning and desired messages are reinforced in all internal communications.
Develops and employs metrics used to assess effectiveness of internal communications program
5 - 10 years of Marketing & Communications experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, emphasis on copywriting and social-style content
Prior internal communications experience, preferably with a global company
Experience working with digital channels and platforms to engage employees, ex. SharePoint, email platforms, external social media, etc.
Ability to work across global teams and manage multiple stakeholders both internally and externally
Creativity to differentiate and make a greater impact
Comfort working in ambiguous situations and ability to problem-solve
Project management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations or related discipline
