Avanade is a global leader for Modern Workplace and Employee Experience transformation and managed services. Our Workplace Platform Modernization offering helps clients identify, design, and implement solutions on the Microsoft 365 platform. We are hiring a Desktop SCCM/Intune Specialist to join our IT team and provide Windows build project support to our clients. You will be responsible for supporting Windows Desktop within a SCCM environment migrating to a modern desktop management (Intune, Autopilot) environment. This includes maintaining and deploying Windows Desktop builds, applications, feature updates, security patches, Desktop/Laptop driver updates. Together we do what matters.

What you’ll do

• Monitor and maintain the security and performance of laptops and desktops, including antivirus, updates, backups, and encryption.

• Document and report any incidents, problems, or requests using the ticketing system

• Coordinate with other IT staff and vendors to ensure the quality and availability of IT services. Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely and professional manner.

• Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in desktop support Job Requirements. Must be able to work on site and travel to different locations as needed.

Skills and experiences

• Windows 10/11

• Experience and understanding of workplace security with Microsoft EMS E5 suite.

• Azure Directory/ Group Policy

• Desktop/Laptop Hardware

• Intune / SCCM/Auto Pilot

• Azure Advanced Threat Protection

• Azure Information Protection/Application Packaging
