Avanade Inc. Manager, Change Management, Growth Office in San Jose, California

The Growth Office Change Project Lead role assists with formulating the overall change strategy for one of the five Growth Office initiatives and works with their Project Lead to implement the strategy. Core skills include: change strategy & planning, business planning, executive stakeholder management and presentations, implementing change across a global organization and strategic program management. This will also support the overall Growth Office Change, Communications and Content (CCC) Team.

Project Change Lead (50%)

Develop, manage and execute change plan for Growth Office change strategies:

· Leverage Avanade’s structured methodologies and lead change management activities

· Define Success Factors and critical milestones.

· Create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by the project

· Support the design, development, delivery and management of communications.

· Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders.

· Provide input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programs.

· Work closely with the Growth Office Change, Communications and Content (CCC) Team to support a change program portfolio.

Growth Office Change Support (30%)

· Drive and manage adoption of the Growth Office Change, Communications and Content (CCC) processes and tools.

· Identify potentials risks, barriers, and dependencies

· Provide change impact assessment to categorize and evaluate impacts of change by stakeholder or stakeholder group.

· Support the Growth Office Change, Communications and Content (CCC) in communications and content creation.

· Help coordinate development and delivery of stakeholder interventions.

Growth Office Change Network (20%)

· Define the roles and responsibilities of a change agent

· Manage agenda and monthly calls for Change Agent Network.

· Support the design, development, delivery and management of communications.

· Assess Change Agent’s current levels of commitment and influence over success of the change.

Scope of Work * Collaborate with virtual teams * Plan, manage, and influence team's work * Set objectives and assist in the delivery of projects or work efforts that have a direct effect on business results within a functional or operational area * Provide insight into strategic technology planning, business case development, and alignment with parents and industry * Make independent decisions, which have major impact on function's results * Maintain strong relationship with and deliver innovation and value to multiple strategic customers * Provide expert advice, guidance, and recommendations to senior managers * Demonstrate a strong ability to influence client leaders * Deliver assigned outcomes with high business impact of high quality and against strict deadlines * Monitor, evaluate, seek, and provide feedback on the performance and outputs of team members * Identify, coach, and develop key talent on own team by readily sharing skills, knowledge and information

Qualifications * 6+ years in program management or change management * Consulting / project-based background * Excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate complex strategic concepts to a variety of audiences * Strong analytical and statistical skills * Ability to work with a variety of strong personalities * Broad knowledge of technology landscape
