About the role
The Client Executive owns the client relationship, serving as strategic business partner while driving sales and revenue and overall client satisfaction. The Client Executive’s responsibility includes delivered margin, delivery and growth of the account.
As Manager, Client Executive, you will be a hands-on leader who contributes to the full end-to-end client engagement model from relationship development through ongoing delivery. You may support a Senior Account Manager on complex accounts, or be assigned your own accounts with guidance. You will contribute to planning, coordination and management of all sales and delivery activities to achieve regional or territory direct-channel sales and revenue targets.
Day-to-day, you will:
Contribute to securing long-term account growth, sales and revenue, while maintaining agreed profitability, expanding client relationships and buyer access and long-term client success
Develop partner relationships and oversee competitive intelligence and growth of the business relationship
Participate in all steps of the sales process, including budget and profitability, for your assigned accounts while providing strategic direction to the account team
Work with Business Development Executives on specific opportunities.
You can build key relationships and networks across our client base. You likely have experience selling outsourcing and managed services deals or other large-scale engagements, including significant offshore delivery, and leveraging offshore resources in deal pursuits.
You should have at least five years of solid project or program management, including client management or sales experience and a proven track record managing projects of increasing complexity or scope.
You likely have a Bachelor’s Degree in business, sales or engineering, and, even better, an advanced degree.

Years of Experience: 5+ years of solid project or program management; customer management and/or sales experience in a service sales organization; proven track record managing projects of increasing complexity and/or scope
Management Experience: 1-2+ years
Education: Bachelor's degree in business, sales or engineering recommended; advanced degree preferred
Customer management and/or sales experience in a service sales organization
Strong commercial, delivery and project management skills
Proven ability to develop, maintain and leverage high-trust relationships with customers, colleagues and business partners
Good track record in contributing to large scale systems integration programs
Solid understanding of enterprise service solutions and Microsoft technologies
Solid understanding of Avanade solutions and offerings
Experience in managed services preferred
Required Certifications: SISA Certification preferred
